Singapore dirty secret

First time I had the chance to visit Singapore was during my stay in China. I had to collaborate with the organization of a food and spirits international trade fair, helping companies from Castilla y León to find potential partners to distribute their products and international investors.
Some days ago I happened to find an article related to Singapore as an ideal tax haven, and it took my atention.  Here you have the link to the article published by the Spanish economic paper Expansion.

Here you may find some tips:
  1. Switzerland has apparently bet on transparency, and here Singapore appears as an alternative since Hong Kong is still somehow related to China.
  2. Singapore does not have an specific offshore regulation, on the other side it has an enormous economic activity and their banks keep their customer's secrets.
